On The Agenda

For those of you lucky enough to get TVO, I’ll be on “The Agenda with Steve Paiken” tonight (8 pm, 11 pm, and, best of all, 5 am), as part of a panel discussing the state of the Liberal Party.

Video and podcast will be up on this page after the fact.

  • That was really well done! You've become a really good public speaker. I enjoyed the respectfulness all around, too, including by/with the host.

  • You should probably be able to spell the guy's name, given that he was kind enough to put you on his show.

  • For a panel that purported to be talking about the state of the liberal party, there was very little, ah, discussion of the state of the party.

Yes, opposition is hard, but I would have preferred a bit more discussion of what exactly is going on in that little club, and a bit less recitation of talking points. Liberals have a problem coming off honest and forthright on video from what I've seen, and this didn't help much.

(You made some great points cutting through the spin, though. Particularly on Quebec.)

  • I watch it in BBC and I guess CNN also cover it.
